From Our Special Correspondant in Ballycotton John O'Connor

One of our members ran around Ballycotton in these “flip-flops” last week. He must have thought it was a pilgrimage not a race. Without naming and shaming anyone our ex-club treasurer, Limerick born GAA fanatic who works for Nortel was even spotted trying to anxiously patch these babies up with duck tape in the final few minutes before the gun. He is accepting Elvery vouchers instead of Easter eggs this year. Nice socks Guy.

I’ll start the ball rolling:

Have you got shoes for James Lundon?

I'll chip in for the new pair of runners ... James' socks are reknowned in the changing rooms at HP for their fragrances and its best to keep them as enclosed as possible. In fact if enough people chip in, maybe we could throw in a new pair of socks too?

I will pay a substantial reward for any information leading to the safe return of my favourite trainers! Stolen last Sunday in Ballycotton!

I'd love if someone would design running sandals, with loads of support, gel etc etc.
At long last I think we have a designer in our midst. The design just needs a few finishing touches, a bit of tweeking, straps maybe, sling backs...and could they come in pink??
