More news from Mick Rice - only a week after placing in the Connemara ultramarathon, he finished the London Marathon today in a fantastic time of 2:48 (racing in the UK marathon championship start), only three mins behind last year's Dublin marathon time; despite the damage of 40 miles through Connemara the previous weekend. He also finished 415th overall - in the top 1% of the field and 37th in his agegroup.
