Jane Ann Healy established another personal best on the roads in Dublin this weekend with a strong performance in the Frank Duffy Ten Mile Road Race. Fresh from a very strong performance in the streets of Galway Jane Ann carried that same form into the Dublin race and delivered a personal best time of 1:06:22 which was good enough for 9th senior woman in a huge field of 6,000 entries.

For anyone who might have wondered about the benefits of the track and road sessions being pioneered by Jane Ann on Tuesday's and Thursdays, they need only look at her Dublin result to understand that there's obviously some method to her madness.

Well done Jane Ann!

Great run from Jane Ann. She was no doubt changed and on the way back west by the time I managed to cross the line in 86:04, some 20 minutes later. Howe I wish I was nearer those track sessions :)......
