Congratulations to Sarah Gilhooley and Shannen Lee who were representing Athenry AC at the Autumn Open Cross Country 4K in Phoenix Park today. The girls finished a fantastic 28th and 30th place in times of 18.17 and 18.41 respectively. Both girls are in great running form at the moment and both featured prominently in the recent Galway XC championships with Sarah taking both the U15 and U16 titles and Shannen taking bronze in the U18 championship running out of age.
