1.What shoes do you train in?

Usually Nike Pagasus

2.How many miles did you run last week?

Amm 10 - had a flu!

3.What’s your favourite racing distance?

10k at the moment.

4.Where’s you favourite place to train??

Dangan fields are always good to me. They're safe and the air is clean.

5.What’s your favourite race or event each year?

Have to say Connemarathon and the "Fields" of course.

6.What annoys you most at races?

Not winning:-)

7.What race, that you haven’t yet run, would you most like to take part in?

I'd like to try the Boston Marathon sometime

8.What was your best-ever running performance?

Streets of Glaway and Longford half marathon 2005 - 29:50ish and 1:25:50ish

9.What was your worst-ever running performance?

Streets of Galway 2006 - I might as well have jogged home half way through and drove to the finish.

10.What’s the strangest thing that you’ve ever seen on a training run?

James L. is always a bit strange:-)

11.Favourite piece of running gear?

My keys for when training is over.

12.Who would you most enjoy beating in a sprint for the line?

Powell of course.

13.What was the best bit of training advice you were ever given?

To run 5 or 6 days a week if you want to improve.

14.In ten years time will you still be running?

I'll be running somewhere - getting married in December.

15.If for some reason you were told you could never run again, how do you think you’d react?

I'd find a way or a sport to suit.

16.Have you ever been bitten by a dog while running?

No but I have bitten a few dogs.

17.Have you ever had to stop for an emergency ‘Paula’ during a race?

A'm no!

18.Favourite post-race food?

Chips!

19.Most embarrassing ever running-related moment?

Winning a small race in Clifden a couple of months ago.

20.The greatest Irish Athlete of all time is/was?
