Paul Hession landed a superb double at the Cork City Sports at the weekend winning both the 100m and 200m against strong international fields. In particular his winning time of 10.21 in the 100m was another indication of his excellent current form. A number of Athenry menbers made the trip down to Cork to support Paul and they were rewarded with another stunning display of power and technique.

Another Galway clubman, Sean Breathnach of GCH put up a fine display of Shot Putting against some of the best throwers in the world in Cork with a throw of 15.05. Congrats Sean!
