Connemara

A small group of members visited the Connemara Marathon course on Saturday last, 11th Feb, for a preview of what Ray has in store for us at the end of March. The weather co-operated as much as it ever does in that part of the world and so we we mostly dry but a little rained upon and although the wind blew it was at our backs more often than not. It was a day for chatting and looking around, for being thankful that we can get out there and run at all. It was a great day out. Peter Delmer did service above and beyond the call of club duty and not alone acted as a chauffeur and aid-station volunteer but as photographer as well.
