Athenry AC are hosting their annual 10km Burger Run on Friday 24th July at St Mary's GAA Club House (approx 2.5 miles outside Athenry town). Registration is on the night and the race starts at 8.00pm. Our very own Master Chef Owen Curran is organising the BBQ again this year and there will be a delicious burger for all athletes after the race!

Guests permitted so feel free to come and join us on the night! Rules of the race...you are not allowed wear a watch or use any device that tells the time. When registering you predict the number of mins you think it will take you to run the 10km e.g. 40 mins, 45.23 mins etc. the person who finished closest to their predicted time wins regardless of race position. You can run as fast or as slow as you want! Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and 1st, 2nd and 3rd female, winner of race and guest. It is always a great nights running!

If anybody cannot run but would like to help out on the night it would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you there!
