Charity Race - Permit sponsored by Athenry AC

This is the fourth year of the popular and successful Athenry F4L Charity 5 km Charity Run/Walk.

Proceeds this year will be going to Western Alzheimer’s.

The 5k f4L road race will be opened to all but it is mainly aimed for the f4l members in Galway City and County. Registration will be on line on run Ireland and at the Newcastle Athenry Community Centre from 11.00 am.

The entry fee is €12, there are toilets, changing facilities available. There will be post-race refreshments available to all and prize presentation in the community centre after the race.

There will be prize for the first senior fit4Life Male and Female, each participant will receive a commemorate Medal.

The race in Newcastle starts at 12am sharp, so please arrive out to Newcastle in plenty of time to collect your race number or to register and to find which pacer you wish to follow. The start is a ten min jog from the registration hall.

Pacers will have Hi Vis tops indicting what time they are pacing they will be at the start 15min before the race.

Parking is very limited in Newcastle, Car pool with friends if possible and follows stewards instructions
