The 2010 installment of the Galway T&F Series kicks off on Thursday June 17th in Dangan, Galway .  This is a series of three evenings of low-key T&F competition with a short programme of events each evening.  

This is an ideal opportunity for both the absolute beginner and the seasoned campaigner to take in some track & field action.  It provides the regular road runner the opportunity to test their speed over shorter distances and a prime opportunity to set a PB over 5000m.  Why not try a jump or throw while you’re at it.  Relays are open events and a good bit of craic and composite teams of men/women/mixed clubs are very welcome.  All events are graded where numbers justify more than one race.
 
 
This series serves as the Galway County Senior & Masters T&F Championships but athletes from outside Galway are very welcome and actively encouraged.  County Championship medals are awarded to the top 3 Galway athletes in each event in both Masters and Senior categories.  Athletes aged 16 and over are welcome to participate.
 
All entries are taken on the night.  A €5 entry fee entitles athletes to compete in as many events as they wish in any one evening.  Enquiries to [email protected] .

Thurs July 1st @ 8pm

Track:  5000m Men / 3000m or 5000m Women, 400m, 4x100m
