Congrats to all involved in the recent Kilconieron (not to be confused with Kilcornan) 5M road race.

Niall Callanan and Patrick Forde recently presented the proceeds to Bóthar's Conor O'Donoghue.

The following letter was received by the lads from Bóthar in acknowledgement of their group's fundraising efforts:

Today, I met the Chairman and Secretary of the Kilconieron

Charity Run Committee, Niall Callanan and Patrick Forde

respectively. They organised a 5 mile run on February 28th in

Kilconieron and raised €1,500 for Bóthar.

The money they raised will help to send five dairy goats to

Rwanda in the Autumn of this year.

The Kilconieron Charity Run had 140 participants in this its

first year. It has a scenic route and many locals volunteered in

making it a very well run event.
