On Sunday the 10th of May 2009 the Predator Triathlon Club will be holding their first event of 2009. Normally the club organises a Duathlon in early March. We have been unable to hold one this year as the ongoing construction of the new N6 has meant that our route is not available.

This year we have decided to put on a running race as most of our club members take part in local running events and are members of Athenry AC. The run will take place in the grounds of the Brothers of Charity, Kilcornan Centre, Clarenbridge. Most of the route will be in the grounds or in the local Coiltte forest tracks. It has great scenery & with a relaxed route & only 700 meters will be on open roads. The forest tracks are all clear and wide.

The route is ideal for Fit4life runners and all those thinking or training for the Dublin women's mini marathon or even for those who have never run off-road.

The race starts at 11am with the cost being €10 with registration open from 9.30am.

Prior to the main run there will be a juvenile run of 1km starting at 10.15am.
