Damien Larkin took the honours in Maree today in a time of 28.20 ahead of Lloyd Malcolm with David Meehan of Athenry in third, a minute behind the winner. With the National Cross Country taking place in Tuam there was a much changed field lining out but there was still a respectable 316 finishers. Clare Rowe of Tuam AC was first woman home with Loretto Duggan of Kilmurray Ibricken second & Edel Kelly in third.
