The 50th Anniverary Hollymount Road races will be celebrated on November 14 and 15.

The 50th Anniversary Organising Committee extend a hearty welcome to all, and especially to athletics clubs from near and far, to come and compete in the events and/or attend the celebrations of the unique occasion. 

November 15: 50th Race day details and schedule:

Entries for the three races are open on www.runireland.com and available on the day from 10.30am. Free technical T-shirt for first 100 entries.

Chip timing. Dressing rooms, refreshments available.

Teams need to be declared by their club official before race start. Youths and women - 4 max per team with 3 to score; men:  6 max per team with 4 to score.

Timetable for November 15:

10 am: Cycle organised by Hollymount Wheelers Cycling Group


10.30am: Entries taken at Cois Abhainn centre, race HQ Main St. Hollymount.


12 noon: Start youths 3k


12.20pm: Start women's 6k


12.55pm: Unveiling of statue


1.00pm.Start men's 10k


1.30pm Refreshments available at race HQ


2.30pm: Unveiling of previous winner's plaque


2.45pm: Prize presentation
