It was standing room only in the Raheen woods hotel last night, as a large crowd gathered to celebrate the launch of Mick Rice's book on the history of Derrydonnell AC.

MC Frank Greally of Irish runner introduced and interviewed a number people with connections to the club and athletics in Ireland.

This included current president of Athletics Ireland, Liam Hennessy.

Present on the night were many of the Derrydonnell legends, including Willie Morris and Tommy Madden.
