Last Night At The Series – Some Information
 
Full details of tomorrow night’s final race of the Galway 5km series for 2010 are on the Galway City Harriers Web Site at http://www.galwaycityharriers.com/node/3856 but here are a few other points to note.
 
The souvenir series training tops will be available for collection by those who complete five of the six races in the series in the Sports Pavilion in Dangan from about 6:30pm onwards until just before the start of the race. If you’ve already completed four races and show up before the race on Tuesday, we’ll trust you that you’ll be running your 5th in Dangan and therefore you can get your hands on the goodies. If you’ve already completed five races, but can’t make it to Dangan on Tuesday, please get someone else to collect your shirt for you, as we don’t operate a ‘please post out my shirt’ service :-)
 
We need to clear out of the Pavilion early this year and so if you don’t collect your shirt before the race you will have a second opportunity in the Westwood hotel afterwards. There isn't a third opportunity (see above) :-)
 
 
There are some very nice spot prizes this year that will be distributed in the Westwood hotel after the race. To quote the GCH website: - “The Afters will be hosted in the Harriet Suite of the Westwood Hotel which is adjacent to the conservatory there, so make your way there (rather than camping in the main bar!). The suite has a bar, which will be open and there will be finger food available at 9:00pm. There are some cool spot prizes in the running this year also, organised by the Series Organising Committee. But mainly, it's always a great opportunity to catch up with people.”
