Two brave Athenry runners took on the world famous Boston Marathon on Monday - the oldest marathon race in the world and one of the most prestigious. Frank Burke and Tony Killarney were two two couragous men in question. Despite a strong headwind both men posted good times on the hilly Boston route and the fact that they kept the momentum going well in the final stages is testament to their dedicated training. Also along for the trip but unfortunatly not running was our very own Owen Curran and so I'm sure Frank and Tony didn't lack for support or assistance at any stage of the race.
