After 8 years in the planning, work finally commenced today on the construction of our new sports facility in Moanbaun.

Work started on clearing the entrances onto the site, putting down a contractors' carpark and recovering gravel and sand from the spoil heaps on the site.

Work was also started on the perimeter cross country track, which is hoped will be complete in a couple of weeks.

Finances allowing, it is hoped that the entire project will be completed by 2020 and will deliver an 8 lane, 400m Tartan track, a 4G Astorturf pitch and an indoor training facility. The site will also be fully floodlit.
