Paul Hession got his indoor season off to a bright start in Moscow and Malmo this week. The Athenry AC ace sprinter opened his season at the 'Russian Winter' IAAF Permit meeting in Moscow at the CSKA Stadium last Sunday the 1st of February. Paul made the final of the 60m sprint but finished 6th in that final in a time of 6:75 which exactly equalled the qualification time for the forthcoming European Indoor Championships.

Two day's later Paul produced a significantly improved performance in Malmo, Sweeden with a 6:69 clocking to finish second in the Malmo Indoor Gala - which is only .08 of a second outside his previous best for the distance.
