A couple of weekends ago four Athenry runners organised a sneak assault on the ever-popular Cork to Cobh race. This event has been a popular pre-Dublin Marathon race for many years and despite some transport issues this year continues to be a high quality race thats well worth travelling down south for.

The brave Athenry AC quartet on this occasion was Conor Dolan, fresh from his half-marathon heroics in Waterford, Maeve Noone, Frank Burke and Owen Curran. They were blessed with beautiful weather and all reported a very enjoyable race.

Frank Burke has promissed us a full race report in the near future and so I'll just leave you with the bare bones of the result and a few pics. Photo credit to Paudie Birmingham for the snaps below and Richard Cuddy for the one above. Full race result also attached.
