On behalf of the Zambia Housing Project I would like to invite you to some of our upcoming events in the next few months.
 
The second annual Corrib Mask Half Marathon Challenge will be taking place in Clonbur on Sunday 25th August 2013.  The Half Marathon was recently launched by Hector o Heochagain from 2fm!  Registration on the day from 10.30am at Clonbur GAA pitch, or on http://www.runirleland.ie/.  Goody bags for all runners.  We also have group rates available - so if you would like to run our half marathon with your teammates or friends, or run for another charity of your choice, get in touch with us and we would be happy to help out.  Last year we had a great turnout, and this year we hope to make the event even bigger.  There are some stunning views of Lough Corrib en route, and you will be helped along with some water stops and refreshments afterwards.  We will have extra prizes this year for those who set a new course record (Both male and female) - Will it be YOU???
 
For any dog lovers out there, we are also running the Petersburg Dog Show, in Petersburg Outdoor Education Centre on Saturday 17th August 2013 from 12pm.  Entry is €4 per class entry.  Judging will commence at 1pm sharp.  This promises to be a great day out for all the family, with kiddies entertainment and a country market also taking place on the day, so there will be plenty to see and do in this beautiful scenic location.

The Corrib Mask Half Marathon Challenge is only a few days away (Sunday 25th aug) and we have some great prizes for the winners!

1st Male and Female €100 each



2nd Male and Female €75 each



3rd Male and Female €50 each

Whoever SETS a new course record (male and female)will get €150! Last years times were 1.17.59 MALE and 1.41.46 FEMALE.

This year we will have a dinner voucher for two for both 1st M and 1st F over 60's!

THERE WILL BE FREE TSHIRTS FOR THE FIRST 200 TO REGISTER! So go to runireland.ie or register on the day from 10.30am at Clonbur GAA pitch.

There will also be a free guided walk through clonbur woods just after the race begins - A great opportunity to pass the time for those who are supporting friends and family in the half marathon!
