Road Race and Family Fun Run

The Maree 8k will take place in Maee, Oranmore, Co Gaway

This will be an 8k fund raising run/walk in the scenic surroundings of Galway Bay.

All monies raised in the event are to be used to develop local sporting facilities.

The race is being organised by the Maree Development Organisation with the help from many others.

Entry fee will be €15 which will be collected from each entrant. It is open to runners and walkers of all ages

(under 16 free but to be accompanied).

The run is on Sunday afternoon at 1pm and starts at the Maree Community Centre, Oranmore, Galway,

Registration will be at the community centre, opens at 11:30am and closes at 12:45pm.

CIRCUIT:The run follows an 8k circuit from the Maree Community Centre out onto Galway Bay down the Tawin penisula and back to the community centre,

PRIZES: for first, second and third male and female, and also for the winners of each of the age categories sponsored by Elvery Sports
