Maree 8KM Run and Fun Walk with Amphibian King

The annual Maree 8KM Run and Fun Walk takes place in the scenic surrounds of Maree, Oranmore, Co. Galway on February 10th 2013 at 1pm. This picturesque circuit has been measured to AI standards, will be chip timed, and has been approved by the Galway County Board. This run takes our participants from the Maree Community Centre out onto Galway Bay, down the picturesque Tawin peninsula, and back to Maree Community Centre. Fantastic prizes for first and second senior men, first and second senior women, first man over forty, and first woman over forty courtesy of our sponsors Amphibian King. 

This event will raise funds to develop local sporting facilities in Maree, and for the first time is organised by the newly founded Maree Athletics Club in conjunction with the Maree Development Organisation. 

Entry is open to runners aged 16 years and older. Registration will take place in Maree Community Centre from 11:00am to 12:30pm. You can also enter early on Run Ireland: http://www.runireland.com/events/maree-8k-run-and-fun-walk-amphibian-king

Post race refreshments will be available and prize giving will take place at 2:30pm.
